Fruit Heights Forward

Fruit Heights General Plan Update

Welcome!

Located beneath the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains, Fruit Heights is a well-established community and "a City of Good Neighbors." While the current Fruit Heights City General Plan has been carefully followed as growth has unfolded, it was last updated in 2005. Since that time, Davis County and the entire Wasatch Front has experienced unprecedented growth and change. To address future needs and challenges, the City has hired an outside consultant, Landmark Design, to develop an Update to the General Plan.

The plan will establish a clear vision for the City that balances current strengths with future needs and desires. This vision will then be translated into complete, long-reaching and comprehensive General Plan that addresses areas such as land use, housing, transportation and economic development. The resulting plan will help Fruit Heights retain the essence of what the City is today while establishing a specific direction for the future.

As the information clearinghouse for the project, this website will be updated regularly. Please continue to check in and follow the plan's progress.
